Childhood

Childhood is a period of growth, discovery, learning, and development. It is during childhood that many of the foundations of identity, relationships, emotional well-being, and understanding are established. The Human Constitution explores every child's right to safety, care, dignity, education, and opportunity, alongside the responsibility of adults to provide guidance, protection, and support. Through Istima, childhood becomes the beginning of a lifelong journey of learning about ourselves, others, and the world around us.
