Culture

Culture reflects the values, traditions, customs, stories, arts, beliefs, and ways of life that shape human communities. It influences how people understand themselves, relate to others, and make sense of the world. The Human Constitution explores our right to participate in and preserve culture and our responsibility to respect the cultures of others. Through Istima, cultures continue to learn, adapt, evolve, and exchange ideas while maintaining their unique identities. Cultural diversity is one of humanity's great strengths and a source of learning, creativity, and resilience.
