Cultural identity helps connect individuals to a larger story of family, heritage, language, traditions, and community. It often provides a sense of belonging, continuity, and meaning. The Human Constitution explores every person's right to value and preserve their cultural identity while respecting the identities of others. Through Istima, people and societies learn how to honor their roots while remaining open to growth, dialogue, and new perspectives. Cultural identity can be both an anchor and a bridge.
