Purpose of Life

Does life have a purpose waiting to be discovered?

Religious, philosophical and personal traditions answer this differently. The Human Constitution does not settle whether purpose is given, discovered or created. It offers a way to consider how we live with our answer, including how it shapes responsibility toward others. Uncertainty does not prevent a person from caring, contributing or making a commitment.

If the question comes from pain or uncertainty, company may matter before a philosophical answer. We can explore it in conversation without requiring someone to arrive at a belief or a purpose.
