War

War is one of humanity's oldest and most devastating realities. It often emerges from conflict, fear, competition, historical grievances, power struggles, ideology, or failures of diplomacy. Through Istima, war invites humanity to reflect on power, responsibility, leadership, diplomacy, cooperation, and the conditions required for lasting peace. The challenge is not only how wars are fought, but how they might be prevented through greater maturity, understanding, and respect for human dignity.
