Citizenship

Citizenship is more than a legal status. It reflects our participation in a community, nation, or society. The Human Constitution explores our right to belong, contribute, and participate in civic life, and our responsibility to help strengthen the communities of which we are a part. Through Istima, citizenship invites us to move beyond seeing ourselves only as individuals and recognize our role within a larger whole.
