Crime

Crime often emerges where needs, opportunities, values, laws, and circumstances collide. The Human Constitution explores our right to safety, justice, and protection from harm, and our responsibility to respect the rights and well-being of others. Through Istima, crime challenges individuals, communities, and societies to examine not only harmful actions but also the conditions that contribute to them, creating opportunities for accountability, prevention, restoration, and learning.
