Personal Power

Personal power is our ability to make choices, set boundaries, influence our lives, and act with intention. It includes the recognition that each person carries both the right and the responsibility to choose how they use their time and energy, and how they live their life. The Human Constitution explores our right to personal power and our responsibility to use it with integrity. Through Istima, personal power often grows as we learn from experience, develop self-awareness, and become less driven by fear, approval, or circumstance.
