Transparency

Transparency helps create trust within relationships, organizations, businesses, and governments. The Human Constitution explores our right to access relevant information and our responsibility to communicate openly and honestly. Through Istima, transparency becomes an important teacher of accountability and trust. While complete transparency is not always possible or appropriate, societies, institutions, and individuals often function best when information is shared responsibly and decisions can be understood by those affected by them.
