Anger
How can I make room for anger and choose what to do with it?
You are allowed to feel angry. Being heard in that feeling matters, especially when something important to you has been dismissed. We can begin by asking what has hurt, frightened or frustrated us, without demanding immediate calm.
As we find room to respond, we can separate what happened, what we understood it to mean and what we want to do. A feeling deserves attention even when an interpretation needs checking. Responsibility concerns our conduct: naming an injustice, protecting a boundary and seeking change can be done without threats or humiliation. If you are listening, make room for the feeling while keeping clear limits around harmful behaviour.
A question to sit with (optional): What feels hurt or important here, and what response could address it with care for everyone’s safety and dignity?
