Corporate Responsibility

Corporations have the capacity to influence economies, communities, cultures, technologies, and ecosystems on a global scale. The Human Constitution explores their right to create value and operate successfully and their responsibility to consider the broader consequences of their actions. Through Istima, corporate responsibility invites organizations to expand their perspective beyond short-term profit and consider employees, customers, communities, vulnerable populations, future generations, animals, ecosystems, and planetary boundaries. As corporate power grows, so does the opportunity—and responsibility—to contribute positively to human development and the flourishing of life.
