Human Rights

Human rights recognize that every person possesses inherent worth and dignity. They help protect individuals from abuse, discrimination, and unnecessary restriction. The Human Constitution fully embraces human rights while also exploring the responsibilities that accompany them. Through Istima, humanity continues learning how rights and responsibilities can work together to support both individual freedom and collective flourishing. Human rights remain essential; The Human Constitution seeks to broaden the conversation by asking how we mature into the responsibilities that help sustain them.
