Lobbying

Lobbying is one way individuals, organizations, industries, and communities seek to influence public decisions. The Human Constitution explores our right to advocate for interests, concerns, and perspectives, and our responsibility to do so transparently and ethically. A mature society seeks to strengthen dignity in these interactions. Through Istima, societies continue learning how to balance representation, influence, expertise, fairness, and the common good. The challenge is not eliminating influence but ensuring that influence is exercised with integrity and remains visible to those affected by it.
