Loneliness
What kind of connection am I missing?
Loneliness can hurt even when other people are nearby. You may be missing company, a familiar voice, shared activity or the experience of being understood. Having that need deserves care; it says nothing about your worth or whether you are interesting enough to know.
If you want to, naming what you miss may help you choose a small invitation or a place to seek connection. Finding someone trustworthy can take time, and an unanswered invitation need not become a verdict on you. Communities and institutions also have responsibilities for exclusion and accessible participation. A conversation can begin with something as simple as wanting company, without having to explain your whole life.
A question to sit with (optional): What kind of connection am I missing, and is there an invitation or source of support I would like to explore?
