Adulthood often brings increased freedom, responsibility, choice, and influence. People may take on roles related to work, family, leadership, citizenship, and contribution. The Human Constitution explores our right to shape our own lives and our responsibility to consider the impact of our choices on others. Through Istima, adulthood becomes an ongoing process of learning, adaptation, contribution, and growth rather than a final destination of certainty.
