Well-being

What does being well mean in this season of life?

Well-being can include comfort, connection, security, interest and room to live according to what matters. People weigh these differently, and circumstances change. We can look across body, emotion, thought and the conditions around us. Constant happiness and productivity need not become duties. A workable life may include limitations and unfinished difficulties.

You may find it easier to begin with someone asking how an ordinary day feels than with a definition of well-being. Your answer can include what is enjoyable as well as what is hard.

A question to sit with (optional): Which part of life most needs attention now, and what would enough look like?
