Human Worth in Everyday Life

Recognizing human worth does not require agreement. People can disagree strongly while still recognizing one another's humanity. The Human Constitution explores how awareness of human worth influences leadership, relationships, communication, justice, education, healthcare, business, and everyday interactions. Through Istima, we often learn that looking beyond labels, identities, beliefs, and social status expands our capacity for empathy, cooperation, and understanding. Human worth invites us to see people not simply as voters, customers, employees, competitors, patients, followers, or statistics, but as human beings whose lives matter. A mature society is built upon this recognition.
